Life doesn’t come with a roadmap—but God’s Word gives us direction for every season.
The challenge isn’t whether the Bible has answers.
It’s knowing where to look.
Identify What You’re Feeling
Before searching for a verse, pause and identify what’s going on inside you.
Are you feeling:
- anxious
- discouraged
- angry
- uncertain
- tired
Naming the feeling helps you find the right truth.
Match the Feeling to a Topic
Once you know what you’re dealing with, go directly to that category:
- Anxiety → Peace or Fear & Anxiety
- Loss → Grief or Comfort
- Struggle → Strength or Faith
- Temptation → Addiction or Self-Control
This helps you quickly land on scriptures that speak directly to your situation.
Look for One Verse That Stands Out
You don’t need to read everything.
Just find one verse that:
- catches your attention
- speaks to your heart
- feels relevant to your situation
That’s often where God is speaking most clearly.
Turn the Verse Into a Prayer
Don’t just read it—pray it.
Example:
Instead of just reading:
“Do not be anxious about anything…”
Pray:
“God, help me trust You with what I’m carrying today. Replace my anxiety with Your peace.”
This is where scripture becomes personal.
Keep It With You
Write it down.
Save it on your phone.
Come back to it throughout the day.
Let it stay in your mind—and settle in your heart.
